Packing materials will be delivered approximately 10 days before summer furlough.

Additional packing materials will be supplied if you were quoted a price for additional storage. Packing materials such as bubble wrap and mattress bags are available for purchase. The materials can be requested any time prior to package material drop-off (10-days prior to summer furlough).

The contents of the cadet’s misc/food boxes should easily fit into one large box. Allowing two medium boxes and an additional large box for other items. We recommend wrapping fragile items with clothes, bed linens, or bubble wrap can also be purchased. When packing the boxes, put non-fragile items on the bottom and sides of the box and pack any fragile items in the center of the box to provide extra support. Pack your box evenly. Most damage occurs because of heavier items shifting around during pick-up/delivery. Ensure you distribute the weight evenly across the boxes. If you have heavier items, place them in the bottom of the box. Secure your boxes. Use the heavy duty packing tape supplied with your materials kit and use the tape liberally. You should use three strips of tape on both the top and bottom of the box.
